# Data license

> `ausbildungssuche-cli` is a *client*. It only accesses data served live by the
> **Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA)** over their public API. That data is the BA's
> and is governed by **the BA's** terms, summarized below. The license of this
> CLI's own source code is a separate matter — see [LICENSING.md](LICENSING.md).

## Notes & caveats

- The BA Terms of Use state copyright in the portal and its content is held
  entirely by the BA; reuse in the copyright sense requires the BA's explicit
  prior permission.
- The records are largely **third-party content** (apprenticeship offers from
  employers / Bildungsanbieter), adding further rights considerations.
- `api.bund.dev` / the bundesAPI GitHub repo are **community-maintained** docs and
  declare no data license; "no API key required" concerns *access*, not *reuse*.
- No corresponding GovData open-data dataset exists for the live listings.
