Install

  1. Install the bundeshaushalt CLI:

    npm i -g @maschinenlesbar.org/bundeshaushalt-cli

  2. Add the marketplace (once):

    /plugin marketplace add maschinenlesbar-org/plugins

  3. Install the plugin:

    /plugin install bundeshaushalt@maschinenlesbar

    Break down the German federal budget for a year into a ranked, human-readable table — who gets the most money, what share, and (on request) a drill-down into one ministry. Trigger when the user asks "what does Germany spend money on?", "biggest items in the 2024 federal budget", "how much does the defence/health ministry get?", "break the Bundeshaushalt down by economic group / function", or wants the budget by ministry (Einzelplan), economic group (Gruppe) or functional area (Funktion). Uses the bundeshaushalt-cli.

    Build a multi-year time series from the German federal budget — how total spending, a single ministry, an economic group or a functional area has grown or shrunk over the years. Trigger when the user asks "how has the defence budget changed since 2014?", "trend of federal spending 2012–2024", "has health spending gone up?", "year-over-year growth of the education ministry", or wants a budget figure tracked across years. Uses the bundeshaushalt-cli, querying each year and stitching the series together.
