Install

1. Install the fragdenstaat CLI:

2. Add the marketplace (once):

3. Install the plugin:

  Find and profile the right German public body (Behörde) to address an FOI request to, using the fragdenstaat CLI. Trigger when the user asks "which authority handles environmental data in Hamburg?", "find the Behörde for X", "what's the FOI contact email for the Umweltbundesamt?", "how many FOI requests has this ministry answered?", "who do I ask about building permits in Munich?", "list all Grundschulen public bodies", or wants an authority's address, type, jurisdiction, request_note, or activity level. Resolves names to numeric ids, filters by jurisdiction / classification / category / region / a point, and hands the body id to the request-finder to inspect its FOI track record.

  Find and bulk-export documents released through FOI on FragDenStaat.de, scoped by authority, request, collection or portal, and export request and document datasets to CSV for analysis. Trigger when the user asks "find documents published by the Umweltbundesamt", "documents from FOI request 12345", "export FOI requests about lobbying to CSV", "get the document collection for portal X", "download a dataset of environmental FOI documents", "which documents came out of campaign Y?", or wants the OCR'd files, page counts and file URLs behind released requests. Resolves authority and campaign names to numeric ids first, then filters and pages the document/request datasets and streams the server's flattened CSV export.

  Explain the German FOI legal landscape as modelled by FragDenStaat — which law applies in a given jurisdiction, the three federal pillars (IFG, UIG, VIG), state Transparenzgesetze and local Satzungen, statutory response deadlines, and whether a request needs a signature. Trigger when the user asks "what FOI law applies in Sachsen?", "which laws cover environmental information?", "response deadline under the IFG", "list transparency acts by state", "does Bayern have a Transparenzgesetz?", "what's the difference between IFG, UIG and VIG?", or "which law should I use to request environmental data in Hessen?". Resolves a jurisdiction name to its id, filters the ~189 laws, and always reports the deadline with its unit.

• /fragdenstaat:fds-request-finder

  Find and analyse Freedom-of-Information requests on FragDenStaat.de, using the fragdenstaat CLI. Trigger when the user asks "how did FOI requests about surveillance cameras go?", "find freedom-of-information requests about lobbying", "which requests to the Umweltbundesamt were successful?", "show refused IFG requests in Bayern", "what's the success rate of requests about topic X?", or "recent FOI requests about police data retention". Searches by topic, filters precisely by status, resolution, jurisdiction, FOI law, public body, category, tags, dates and costs, and interprets outcomes — was a request successful, refused, or still open — including topic-level success-rate analysis.
