hochwasser data

Check Germany's official flood warnings and the flood classification at ~1200 gauges, get a per-state situation overview, and export warning areas or gauges as GeoJSON — all over the open, key-free LHP-PublicAPI via the hochwasserzentralen-cli.

Install

  1. Install the hochwasser CLI:

    npm i -g @maschinenlesbar.org/hochwasserzentralen-cli

  2. Add the marketplace (once):

    /plugin marketplace add maschinenlesbar-org/plugins

  3. Install the plugin:

    /plugin install hochwasser@maschinenlesbar

    Check Germany's current official flood warnings using the hochwasserzentralen-cli. Trigger when the user asks "gibt es gerade Hochwasserwarnungen in Bayern?", "any flood warnings in Germany right now?", "ist Hochwasser in Sachsen?", "is there a flood alert for the Elbe region?", "Hochwasserlage in NRW?", or wants the states' official warning text and instructions. Pulls the LHP alert areas (optionally with full CAP detail), reads the right warning scale, and reports with source and data timestamp.

    Export German flood-warning areas or gauge classifications as valid GeoJSON for mapping, using the hochwasserzentralen-cli. Trigger when the user asks to "map the flood warnings", "export the Hochwasser areas as GeoJSON", "plot the flooding gauges on a map", "Hochwasserkarte für Bayern", "show the alert polygons in QGIS", or wants LHP flood geodata for Leaflet / geojson.io / QGIS / Kibana. Uses the CLI's built-in FeatureCollection export with the overwrite guard, and reports path and feature count.

    Check the flood situation at Germany's gauges using the hochwasserzentralen-cli. Trigger when the user asks "flood situation on the Rhine?", "wie ist die Hochwasserlage?", "sind Pegel an der Elbe über Meldestufe?", "which rivers are flooding right now?", "Hochwasser-Übersicht für Deutschland?", or wants a per-state or per-river flood classification overview. Uses the LHP gauge classification (lhpClass 4..-1) and the built-in per-state aggregation — classification only, not water levels.
