lobbyregister transparency

Profile who lobbies the Bundestag on a topic, rank registered lobbyists by declared spend or by legislative-engagement volume, track new registrations and deregistrations over time, and surface the revolving door of former MdBs and government officials — all over the open, key-free Lobbyregister search API via the lobbyregister-cli.

Skills

  • /lobbyregister:lobbyregister-legislative-engagement

Rank German lobby-register entries by how actively they engage in lawmaking — the number of formal statements they filed, regulatory projects they worked, and lobbying contracts they hold, using the lobbyregister-cli. Trigger when the user asks "who files the most statements on legislation?", "most legislatively active lobbyists on energy", "who's involved in the most regulatory projects?", "which consultancies hold the most lobbying contracts?", or wants an activity-led (not money-led) league table. The footprint-of-engagement complement to lobbyregister-money-ranking.

  • /lobbyregister:lobbyregister-money-ranking

Follow the money in the German lobby register — rank registered lobbyists by the lobbying spend they declare, using the lobbyregister-cli. Trigger when the user asks "who spends the most on lobbying?", "biggest lobbying budgets in energy", "top-spending lobbyists on pharma", "rank by lobbying expenses", or wants a money-led league table for a topic or the whole register. Handles the declared-spend value being a euro *range*, not a number, and the many null / zero declarations.

  • /lobbyregister:lobbyregister-new-entrants

Track movement in and out of the German lobby register over time — who newly registered and who recently went inactive, using the lobbyregister-cli. Trigger when the user asks "who newly registered to lobby on hydrogen?", "new lobbyists since the election", "which interest groups appeared this year?", "who deregistered / went inactive on pharma?", or wants a "what's changed lately" monitor for a topic or the whole register. Keys on the registration date, not the last-edited date — so it finds genuine newcomers, not entries that were merely updated.

  • /lobbyregister:lobbyregister-revolving-door

Surface the "revolving door" in the German lobby register — registered lobbyists who recently held a Bundestag seat or a government office, using the lobbyregister-cli. Trigger when the user asks "which former MdBs are now lobbyists?", "revolving door in the lobby register", "ex-politicians lobbying on energy", "any former government officials registered for pharma?", or wants a conflict-of-interest / transparency check on a topic or the whole register.

  • /lobbyregister:lobbyregister-sector-brief

Profile who lobbies the German Bundestag on a topic, using the lobbyregister-cli. Trigger when the user asks "who lobbies on hydrogen?", "which organisations are registered for energy / pharma / defence?", "give me a lobbying briefing on Klimaschutz", "what interest groups work on AI in Germany?", or wants an overview of the players in a sector. Turns one search into a ranked, deduplicated briefing — top spenders, headcount, activity-type mix and field-of-interest tags — instead of raw register JSON.
