Brief Germany's live civil-protection warnings across all NINA sources, watch a specific region by its ARS/AGS key, and export a warning's affected area as GeoJSON — all over the open, key-free NINA API via the nina-warnungen-cli.

Install

  1. Install the nina CLI:

    npm i -g @maschinenlesbar.org/nina-warnungen-cli

  2. Add the marketplace (once):

    /plugin marketplace add maschinenlesbar-org/plugins

  3. Install the plugin:

    /plugin install nina@maschinenlesbar

    Check or monitor civil-protection warnings for a specific German region using the nina-warnungen-cli. Trigger when the user asks "are there warnings in Heidelberg?", "any alerts for my area / Landkreis / Kreis?", "warnings near me", "is it safe in the Ahrtal?", or wants ongoing monitoring of one place. Resolves the place to its district-level ARS regional key, pulls the per-region dashboard feed, and can re-check it periodically, reporting new, changed and cleared warnings.

  • /nina:nina-warning-briefing

    Produce a live civil-protection warning briefing for Germany using the nina-warnungen-cli. Trigger when the user asks "any warnings right now?", "what's the BBK / NINA warning situation?", "current severe-weather warnings", "are there any disasters/alerts in Germany?", "is there a flood/storm/fire warning?", or wants a cross-source alert summary. Merges warnings across MoWaS, KATWARN, BIWAPP, DWD, flood and police, drops cancellations and expired noise, and ranks by severity — instead of six separate raw feeds.

    Export a NINA civil-protection warning's affected area as GeoJSON for mapping, using the nina-warnungen-cli. Trigger when the user asks to "map this warning", "show the affected area on a map", "export the warning area as GeoJSON", "what area does this alert cover?", or wants the warning geometry for Leaflet / geojson.io / QGIS. Resolves a warning (by id, or by finding one first), pulls its geometry, and hands back a ready-to-open FeatureCollection.
