# Data license

> **This tool does not include, host, or redistribute any data.**
> `reisewarnungen-cli` is a *client*. It only accesses data served live by the
> **Auswärtiges Amt (German Federal Foreign Office)**. That data is the AA's and is
> governed by **their** terms, summarized below. The license of this CLI's own
> source code is a separate matter — see [LICENSING.md](LICENSING.md).

## Notes & caveats

- Stated condition (German): *"Es ist klar erkennbar, dass die übernommenen
  Informationen vom Auswärtigen Amt stammen."* No fixed boilerplate is mandated,
  but unmistakable AA attribution is required.
- **No accuracy warranty** ("Eine Gewähr für die Richtigkeit kann das Auswärtige
  Amt nicht übernehmen").
- The AA **reserves the right to revoke** API access, including where use could
  harm Germany's or the AA's reputation. Registering adds your email to an AA
  change-notification list.
- Content is HTML editorial text and may be **copyrighted** — this is not an open
  dataset.
