# Data license

> **This tool does not include, host, or redistribute any data.**
> `smard-cli` is a *client*. It only accesses data served live by **SMARD.de**
> (Bundesnetzagentur). That data is the provider's and is governed by **their**
> terms, summarized below. The license of this CLI's own source code is a separate
> matter — see [LICENSING.md](LICENSING.md).

- **No warranty:** the Bundesnetzagentur does not guarantee correctness or
  completeness; underlying data comes from **ENTSO-E** and the transmission system
  operators.
- Standard CC BY 4.0 caveat: the license may not cover all rights needed for a
  particular use (e.g. other rights such as privacy may apply).
