Commands

Every command, argument and option of bundeswahl 0.0.6, read from the CLI itself.

Global options

These options work with every command.

`--timeout <ms>`	time limit per request in ms, whole response included (0 = no timeout)
`--user-agent <ua>`	User-Agent header value
`--max-retries <n>`	retries for transient 429/503 responses (0..10)
`--max-response-bytes <n>`	cap response body size in bytes (0 = unlimited; default 100 MiB)
`--compact`	print JSON on a single line instead of pretty-printed
`-o, --output <file>`	write output to this file instead of stdout
`-f, --force`	with --output, overwrite the file if it already exists

Options

Option	Description	Default
`--area-type <level>`	restrict to Bund \| Land \| Wahlkreis
`--area <nr-or-name>`	an area by number (leading zeros ignored) or name substring, e.g. 005 or Kiel; Land and Wahlkreis numbers overlap, so pair with --area-type
`--party <name>`	a party/group by name substring, e.g. SPD, GRÜNE
`--vote <1\|2>`	restrict to 1 (Erststimme) or 2 (Zweitstimme)
`--group-type <type>`	restrict to a Gruppenart, e.g. Partei, System-Gruppe

bundeswahl parties [options]

The 299 constituencies (Wahlkreise), optionally filtered by Land

bundeswahl wahlkreise [options]

`--land <land>`	only Wahlkreise in this Land (name, abbreviation or number)

Structural data (Strukturdaten) for the 299 Wahlkreise; the official Land/Bund summary rows are excluded unless --include-aggregates is passed

bundeswahl structure [options]

Options

`--wahlkreis <nr-or-name>`	one Wahlkreis by number (leading zeros ignored) or name substring
`--include-aggregates`	also return the official summary rows: 16 "Land insgesamt" (Wahlkreis-Nr. 901-916) and the national "Insgesamt" (999). Use these for Land/Bund figures rather than summing Wahlkreise, which double-counts the city states
